Curran Aluminium have recently completed the glazing sub-contractor for the €9m extension of the prestigious Bishop’s Square Office Development in Dublin city centre. This landmark project will be the first undertaken in Ireland by Hines, a major player in global real estate investment.
Bishop’s Square is a 5 storey office block with a floor area of 22,050m2 on Kevin Street. Constructed approximately 12 years, the property was recently acquired by Hines Ireland. The building is a Grade A office space and is fully let by long term tenants including OPW, News Corp and Tourism Ireland.
The project involves the creation of an additional 3,154m2 office space, by expanding the floorplates on the existing top two floors and adding a new 6th floor. Construction works will be undertaken in a live fully occupied, office environment which will require careful planning and phasing of the works and extensive Client Liaison.
