Whilst the overall impact and setting of the Palace remains unchanged from the 18th century, a new bedroom wing has been added to the east of the main building. The new build works consisted of the construction of a new bedroom block, ballroom, courtyard plantroom, ESB Substation building along with a new Spa building with indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
