Edwards Lifesciences, a world-leading medical device company, has expanded its operations in Ireland, with a new state of the art 17,700 m² manufacturing facility in Castletroy, Co. Limerick. The Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Leo Varadkar TD, visited Castletroy, Co. Limerick, to officially open the new manufacturing facility which will employ 850 people from the surrounding area.

**INDUSTRIAL PROJECT OF THE YEAR OVER €15m AWARD 2022 – EDWARDS LIFESCIENCES GREENFIELD MANUFACTURING FACILITY**
Edwards Lifesciences’ new Gold LEED-certified manufacturing facility in Ireland’s National Technology Park just outside Limerick. Recipient of the 2022 Irish Construction Excellence Award in the “Industrial Over €15m” category, as well as a 2022 Irish Building & Design Award for Industrial Building Project of the Year, the facility was constructed using an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) procurement approach and innovative digital tools.
